Meet the Owner: Jamie Rough
As the owner and operator of Horizon Restoration, Jamie Rough brings an engineer’s problem-solving mindset and a deep commitment to customer service to every job site.
Raised in Plano, Jamie grew up playing competitive sports at St. Mark’s School of Texas before heading to Purdue University, where he earned his degree in engineering. His passion for residential infrastructure was born during a hands-on university project designing complex HVAC systems—a project that sparked a lifelong fascination with how homes function and how to make them safer and more efficient.
After graduation, Jamie expanded his horizons abroad, teaching technical and business English to corporate teams in Koriyama, Japan, for major companies like Mitsubishi Chemical. Returning to Texas, he spent nearly five years with a local advisory firm specializing in Dallas-Fort Worth residential service businesses. Managing operations for home services taught him the core values that define Horizon Restoration today: rapid response times, rigorous attention to detail, and earned client trust.
Today, Jamie leads Horizon Restoration with a hands-on approach, ensuring every homeowner receives expert solutions and exceptional service.
