FAQ for Online Data Access
What web browser can I use?
- To browse our public site, any browser is ok. It's been tested with
Internet Explorer and Firefox.
- To login to the secured site to access
payroll information, Internet Explorer, version 5.5 or newer, is required.
I have more than one company - do I need to have a separate user ID and password
for each company?
No. Ask your customer representative for an ID that
will access all of your companies. After you log in, you can choose
which company's data you want.
Can my accountant access my payroll data online?
Yes. We require that you give us written permission to do so. Your
accountant can then access our website, in a read-only mode, to access the
information that they need, saving time for both you and your accountant.
As
an added benefit to your accountant, they can access data of all of their
clients that are also Horizon clients with a single login.
How do I verify an employee’s
salary?
After you're logged in, from the Payroll Services Main Menu, wave your mouse
over Payroll Input, then the current year, then Employee Maintenance. Double-click
the employee that you want to retrieve their information, then click on the
Pay Distribution tab.
W-2s. How do I print a
replacement copy?
After you're logged in, from the Payroll Services Main Menu, wave
your mouse over Print Reports, then the year you want, then click on
the W2 Report. Click the Print Selected Employees checkbox if you don't
want to print all employees, then select the employee(s) that you want to
print on the right. If an employee that you print worked in multiple
cities during the year, then checking the 'Combine all city / local taxes
into one W2' will print only one W2 for that employee, with all city taxes
combined into one amount. Leave this box unchecked to get a separate
W2 for each city for each employee.
